BSPS SCOTLAND AUTUMN WHP SHOW 2020 – ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW NURSERY STAKES 2021 QUALIFYING CLASS

We hope that everyone that has entered is looking forward to our Show on Saturday. To make the show as successful and as safe as possible it is important that all those attending read the following information:
🔺Do not attend the show if you are experiencing any symptoms relating to Covid 19.
🔺Do not attend the show if you have tested positive for coronavirus or have been in contact with anyone that has tested positive.
🔺Only those listed on the Track and Trace form, that was completed with your online entry, will be admitted to the Show. A maximum of 2 people per rider (including children) are permitted to attend the show. Please do not bring additional family/helpers with you.
🔺You will be met at the gate of Champfleurie stables by a BSPS Scotland official. Your track and trace information will be checked and each competitor will receive their number.
🔺Please abide by any instructions given to you by a BSPS Official on the day of the Show.
🔺Each competitor, apart from those entered in the Training Stake Classes, will be asked to jump round the course and then complete a short show before leaving the ring.
🔺All Competitors must wear a back protector while riding their pony/horse.

THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES TAKEN ON THE DAY OF THE SHOWSALL THOSE ATTENDING MUST PRE-ENTER ONLINE – NO POSTAL ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

 

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

THE SHOW IS SPLIT INTO A TOTAL OF FIVE SESSIONS. IF COMPETITORS ENTER A CLASS OR CLASSES IN ONE SESSION, THEY CANNOT ENTER A CLASS IN ANY OTHER SESSION.  

EACH CLASS HAS A MAXIMUM OF NUMBER OF 6 ENTRIES, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED ON SCHEDULE.   SHOULD ONE CLASS IN A SESSION HAVE LESS THAN 6 ENTRIES, BY CLOSE OF ENTRY DATE,  ENTRIES CAN BE INCREASED FOR ANOTHER CLASS WITHIN THAT SESSION.

ALL THOSE ATTENDING THE SHOW ARE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SHOWGROUND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ONCE THEIR CLASSES ARE COMPLETED.

RESTRICTED CLASSES

All BSPS Members who wish to enter for the BSPS Qualifiers in our Restricted Classes MUST WEAR AN ARMBAND to be considered for placings.  All Restricted classes are also open to Non Members and BSPS Members who do not wish to qualify for the BSPS Championships in 2021.

 

THE ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW –  NURSERY STAKES QUALIFIERS

This show is a qualifier for The Royal Highland Show Nursery Stakes 2021.  The first 8 placed same pony and rider combination who jump a clear round will qualify for the 2021 Royal Highland Show Nursery Stakes. Qualification will only move down the line to the next eligible pony and rider combination provided they have jumped a clear round.  This class is open to both BSPS Members and Non-Members.  Qualification will be in accordance with Rule 37 of the BSPS Rule and Show Handbook.  This class is open to both BSPS Members and Non-Members.

Rule 37 – No rider may ride more than one pony in a class except that Riders in all WHP Classes that are not qualifiers for HOYS or RIHS.  Who may ride up to two ponies of the same height in a class, but ONLY  the first pony to jump will be competitive and go forward for Phase II judging, the second pony will not go forward for Phase II.

PLEASE NOTE:  EACH RIDER MUST NOT HAVE ATTANED THEIR 12TH BIRTHDAY BEFORE 1ST JANUARY 2021 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE NURSERY STAKE CHAMPION CLASS AT THE ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW 2021.

Our Autumn WHP Show 2020 will be held with BSPS Scotland Covid-19 Rules and Guidelines in place.  Please read the Guidelines within the Schedule carefully before attending or entering the Show.

DO NOT ATTEND THE SHOWS IF YOU ARE DISPLAYING CORONA VIRUS SYMPTOMS:

NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH

FEVER OR HIGH TEMPERATURE

LOSS OR CHANGE TO YOUR SENSE OF SMELL OR TASTE

BSPS Scotland expects each member/exhibitor to take personal responsibility for not spreading the virus and obeying all rules regarding social distancing.  FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE SHOWGROUND.

Please do not attend the Shows if you are in the vulnerable or very vulnerable category as per Government Guidelines.

 

Hopefully we have put the last few months behind us and are now tentatively on the road to holding shows again.  We have organised our Autumn WHP Show with new Covid-19 guidelines in place, these may change prior to the Show dates due to Government Guideline updates,  please check the schedule below for any changes before attending.  Contact details for all those attending will be required in Support of COVID-19 TRACK AND TRACE.   All classes are open to Non Members as well as BSPS Members.

Autumn Working Hunter Show 2020 Schedule

There will be no entries accepted on the day of the Show.  Entries close on Sunday 18th October 2020 at midnight and no entries will be accepted once closed.
