BSPS Scottish Branch and our Members had a fantastic 2018 and we are sure 2019 will be just as successful.
You can now renew your Membership or join BSPS Scotland online or by downloading a Membership form and posting it to the details on the form. Click on the Join tab at the top the page for all our Membership Details.
All our Shows and Events for 2019 are now listed on our Events Page and we plan to have our Schedules uploaded and entries open in January for our Training Day, Warm Up and Winter Shows. Our Winter Show at Howe on the 17th March will once again be holding RIHS qualifiers. Click on the Events Tab to see all our Shows and events for 2019.
Our Finale Show in September ended our Points Competition for 2018 and we have finally collated the Points for all our Scottish Members and their Ponies. The presentation for our winners and Champions will be presented at our Annual Dinner Dance being held on the 17th November 2018 at the Double Tree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Golf and Spa Resort, Cumbernauld. Rooms are available at a discounted rate of £110.00 for bed and breakfast per double/twin room. Bookings can be made directly with Westerwood Hotel on 01236 457171. The Summer Points Competition for 2018 Final placings and Championship have now be awarded to our BSPS Scottish Members and the rosettes, sashes and trophies for the placings and Championships will be awarded at our Annual Dinner Dance. Nominations for our Board of Directors are now open. Any Nominee must be a current adult member (18 years and over) of the BSPS Scottish Branch and have been a member for a period of not less than twelve months ending on the 1st November 2018. If you wish to nominate someone to join the Board of Directors please complete the following nomination paper, ensuring you have complied with all the instructions on the form.
We are looking for Nominations for our WHP Inter Country Teams to take part in the BSPS Champion Show at Arena UK on Wednesday 22nd August 2018. We are looking for Pony/Rider combinations from each of the 133cm, 143cm, 153cm and WH Intermediate Classes.
If you would or someone you know would like to be considered for our Teams please complete the Nomination Form below and return it to the BSPS Scottish Secretary no later than the 5th August 2018. Please note that telephone nominations will NOT be accepted.
It is with deep sadness that we have to announce the passing of Pat Harley, a Lifetime Member of BSPS Scotland and a great friend to many. Pat and her family were great supporters of BSPS Scotland and were fundamental in starting up our Scottish Branch. Pat’s Funeral will be held on Tuesday 19th June, 2018 at Dunfermline Abbey at 10.30am for those who would like to pay their respects.

BSPS Scotland are holding a Prize Draw throughout the 2018 Show Season. The Schedule for our Spring Show is now available to view on our Events Page where you can also download the Dressage Test which will be included in the Burghley Qualifier being held at the Show.
This Show also marks the start of our Points Competition, download a Points Record Sheet 2018 and keep a record of the Points you have accrued when you are placed 1st – 6th at either one of our own Shows or our Affiliated Shows.
