We have a Bursary available for our Young Judges to help them finance the process of becoming a BSPS Judge. This bursary is open to candidates who have reached the age of 23 but not their 30th birthday on the 1st of January in the current year. If any of our Young Judges are interested in applying please read thoroughly the Bursary Qualification 2017 and then complete the Bursary Form 2017 All completed forms should be forwarded to The Secretary, BSPS Scottish Branch Ltd.
The results for the Points Competition have now been finalised and you can view the results by clicking on this link Final Points 2017 Take a look at the results to see if you are a winner of one of our amazing rosettes. The Rosettes and Trophies will be presented to the winners at our Annual Presentation Dance on the 11th November, 2017 at Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld. This year all our Champions will be presented with a Sash which has been kindly sponsored by The Whiteford Family.

Any member who submitted a Points Record Form to us and disagrees with the Total of their points please contact us by email no later than midnight on Tuesday 10th October 2017, as no discussion will be entered into on any discrepancy on points allocated after this date. The totals will be finalised on Wednesday morning and the placings of each section will be displayed on the Web Site at the end of next Week.
Well done to all our Members, we have had an extremely successful Show Season in 2017 and we thank everyone who has came along and supported the BSPS Scottish Branch Shows and all our Affiliated Shows. The standard of ponies and horses have been extremely high this year and we hope this will continue in 2018.
Our Finale show was the final show for gaining Points for 2017. Download our Points Record Form and enter the Placings you achieved at our shows and our Affiliated Shows, commencing with our Spring Show held at Morris EC on Saturday 8th April. The winners of our Points Competition will receive their Rosettes at our Annual Dinner Dance on the 11th November being held at The Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld, you can download a ticket booking form for the Dance from our Events Page. Thanks to Sally from There’s Yer Dinner for creating a film of our Finale Show 2017. We can now give you all a quick glimpse into the fun, friendship, ponies and people that make the Scottish Branch of the British Show Pony Society what it is.
Thank you to everyone that came along to our Finale Show at the weekend and congratulations to all our winners, the standard of riders and ponies was outstanding.
We hope you all had a good day and enjoyed the Evening Performance. A big thank you to all our Sponsors, we are a non profit making organisation so without you we would not be able to hold our Shows. Thank you to Carol Mason who donated the beautiful hand made Cushions and Sashes as prizes for some of our Championship. Finally Thank you to all our Judges, Stewards and helpers who all worked really hard on the day to make the Show a great success.
A huge congratulations to our Supreme of Show Abbie Kirkbride on Hopgarden Playboy and Reserve Supreme of Show Kirsty Aird riding Greenholme Emblem. I am sure you will all agree they both are worthy winners.
Our Main Sponsor, Team Oakden kindly donated a Trophy for our new WHP Supreme of Show which was won my Kirsty Aird on Castle Diva with Amy Ogilvie on Wizard XI in Reserve. Thank you Sarah and Team Oakden.
