A Message from our Chairman

It is now June now and we have all had to ensure this very difficult lock down. I hope that all members are safe, well and using their time wisely.

I am in regular contact with BSPS Sawtry and hopefully will be able to give our members any relevant updates.

We have dates booked at Morris EC for August and September, and if Government Guidelines allow us to proceed and it is legal to do so, we will hopefully be able to run a Show or Shows.

We are currently organising a Virtual Show, details of which will be published very soon, which we hope our Members and Non Members will take part in.

In the meantime, stay safe and we will hopefully see you all soon.

Joyce Coltart

After discussions by our Board of Directors and due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that we have no option but to cancel the BSPS Scotland Spring Show due to be held on the 4th April at Morris Equestrian Centre.
The health and safety of everyone that attends our Events is of utmost importance to the BSPS Scottish Branch, and it would be irresponsible of us to proceed with the Show.
We hope everyone understands the decision we have made and we hope you all stay safe.

BSPS Scottish Branch is very much aware of the growing concerns regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and are continually monitoring and taking advice on the situation. Our number one priority is to ensure the health and safety of all Competitors attending our Shows. At the moment we are intending to go ahead with our Spring Show on the 4th April at Morris Equestrian Centre, although we have made the decision not to open the online pre-entries this weekend as planned, and may revert to entries on the day at a reduced rate. Please regularly check our Facebook page and website for any updates.

We have an exciting new Competition for 2020. The BSPS Scotland Members Champion of the Year competition to be held at BSPS Scotland Finale Show on the 12th September 2020.

Each qualifying pony/rider combination we compete at our Finale Show will receive a qualifying rosette, there will also be prizes for each overall Section winner with the BSPS Scotland Member Overall Champion receiving an embroidered rug for their pony/horse.

We hope that you will come along to our BSPS and Affiliated Shows in 2020 and help us find our BSPS Scotland Members Champion.
