About BSPS Scottish Branch

The British Show Pony Society

BSPS is a family orientated national society which aims to improve the showing of the Children’s Riding Pony by promoting classes and competitions for Children’s Show Ponies, Show Hunter Ponies and Working Hunter Ponies.

In addition the BSPS now includes classes for Mountain & Moorland ponies, Intermediates, Part Bred Arabs and Coloured Horses and Ponies providing children with the opportunities to compete at local shows throughout as well as represent their Country at National Level.

BSPS Scottish Branch is an independent branch of BSPS and we organise shows, training days and social events every year.  We also run an annual summer points competition whereby Scottish members can gain points by competing throughout the season at affiliated Point shows.  Trophies and Rosettes for this competition are presented at the Dinner Dance we hold in November of each year.
